RESER’S FINE FOODS TO INVEST $34 MILLION IN TOPEKA EXPANSION, CREATING 60 NEW JOBS AND $458 MILLION ECONOMIC IMPACT

Topeka, KS — Reser’s Fine Foods, a nationally recognized food manufacturer with deep roots in Topeka, has announced a $34 million expansion to strengthen its operations and reinforce its long-term commitment to the community. The project, previously referred to as Project B, includes major capital investment in new construction and equipment.

The expansion is expected to create 60 new jobs over the next five years, with salaries ranging from $50,000 to $110,000 annually. Over the next decade, the project is projected to generate a $458 million economic impact, representing a 40% return on investment for the county.

To support this expansion, the Topeka and Shawnee County Joint Economic Development Organization (JEDO) board has approved incentives through GO Topeka. This collaboration reflects the community’s commitment to retaining and growing long-standing employers while driving job creation and strengthening Topeka’s position as a hub for food manufacturing.

“Reser’s has been part of the Topeka story for decades, and we’re proud to continue growing here,” said Jeff Adair, Director of Facilities Management at Reser’s Fine Foods. “This expansion reflects our confidence in the region’s workforce and infrastructure, and our commitment to delivering high-quality products to families across the country. We’re grateful for the support from GO Topeka and JEDO as we take this next step.”

“Reser’s Fine Foods is a pillar of our local manufacturing economy,” said Stephanie Moran, Interim President of GO Topeka. “Their continued investment in Topeka is a powerful endorsement of our community’s potential. This project will bring quality jobs, long-term economic impact, and renewed momentum to our region.”

The expansion will enhance Reser’s production capabilities and support the company’s long-term growth strategy. GO Topeka and JEDO have worked closely with the company to ensure the project’s success, reinforcing Topeka’s position as a competitive location for advanced food manufacturing.
