Get ready for the 45th Annual Small Business Awards—returning May 7, 2026! Building on last year’s Blueprint for Brilliance, the next chapter of our three-part theme is The Fire of Determination — a celebration of the passion, perseverance, and unstoppable drive that keeps Topeka and Shawnee County’s small businesses pushing forward. Nominations open November 1, 2025, and will remain open until February 28, 2026. Show your support for the businesses that inspire you—nominate your favorite local entrepreneur in one of our award categories and help shine a spotlight on the determination igniting success in our community!
The 44th Annual Small Business Awards was a night to remember as we celebrated the entrepreneurs and small businesses shaping Topeka and Shawnee County’s future. Under the theme Blueprint for Brilliance, six outstanding businesses were honored: The Refinery Medical Aesthetics (Micro Business Award), The Brownstone (Woman-Owned Small Business Award), IPG Building Company (Minority-Owned Small Business Award & TopCity Small Business of the Year), Del-Metrius Herron & Associates (Veteran-Owned Small Business Award), PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. (Small Business Manufacturer Award), and MB Piland Advertising + Marketing (Legacy in Business Award).
