Ever wondered what makes an environment click? We’ll dive into the pivotal role of psychological safety in fostering women’s personal and professional development. Through personal experiences and examining the current landscape you’ll gain insights and understanding of the need for an inclusive environment and how to make that happen for yourself and others.
As a professional coach and speaker with over a decade of experience in designing and delivering top tier training programs, Dr. Lindsay Roberts and her company, Lindsay Roberts & Co. conduct ongoing research on the importance and impact of psychological safety in the workplace. Her exploration of this topic began with her doctoral dissertation during which she studied the experiences of psychological safety in a hybrid team working within the nuclear energy industry. This study has evolved into a passion for taking psychological safety from concept to action. She is dedicated to empowering organizations to drive improvements in employee engagement, physical safety, and company performance through a foundation of psychological safety.Lindsay’s educational background and professional experience uniquely equips her to meet learners where they are and deliver a valuable learning experience. A passionate learner, learner, Lindsay has achieved a Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver and a Doctor of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. Lindsay’s diverse background also includes professional experience as a Master Resilience Trainer and Performance Expert for the U.S. Army, Head of Talent Development at a Fortune 500 company, and Sport and Performance Psychology mentor for athletes at all levels.
These experiences have instilled an important lesson upon Lindsay, which is, “The bottom line is relationships matter.” This lesson is a guiding post for Lindsay as she designs leadership development training, delivers keynote speeches on psychological safety, or simply sends a thank you note to a friend.
