Women in the STEM Economy
The W.I.S.E. Women Mentorship Program provides mentorship opportunities to high school girls who are considering STEM careers and will expose, engage, and inspire young women entering STEM careers. This application is for high school students who are seeking mentorship from a STEM professional.
Women in the STEM Economy (WISE Women) is designed to be a consortium of diverse women from all aspects of STEM that are using their voices and expertise to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within the economic framework of the Topeka and Shawnee County area.
The goals of W.I.S.E. Women are:
W.I.S.E Woman will run from February 26, 2024 – July 30, 2024.
To be considered for this pilot program, you must currently be attending high school in the Topeka and Shawnee County area. You must also be able to commit to attending at least 6 mentoring activities as well as 3-4 group sessions and/or field trips during the program length.
Applications are due February 9, 2024. Applicants will be notified of selections the week of February 19, 2024. Use the link below to fill out the application, then email to Trina.Goss@topekapartnership.com.
